Amy Divincenzo Portrait

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with almost a decade of experience in the mental health field. My experience includes community mental health, school social work, homeless services, and private practice.

I specialize in working with children and teens, young adults, college students, and women living with OCD, anxiety, body focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling and skin picking), trauma, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (postpartum depression, OCD, and anxiety). I am an active member of the International OCD Foundation and Postpartum Support International.

As a lifelong learner, I regularly seek out professional development opportunities, stay up to date with the latest research in mental health, engage in ongoing case consultation with field leaders, and am constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow as a therapist.

I use evidence based treatments that have been proven most effective for addressing your concerns. My approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), inference based cognitive behavioral therapy (I-CBT), prolonged exposure (PE), comprehensive behavioral (ComB) therapy, and supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions (SPACE).

If you're feeling unsure if now is the right time to start therapy, reach out and let's talk. We can work together to help you heal pain from the past, solve problems and change behaviors that are holding you back in the present, and navigate fears and uncertainty about the future. I look forward to hearing from you.
